A brand new way of Private Hire businesses working together to take on Uber head on, currently available in 17 UK cities, 2 in Ireland and 4 in the United States. Beta testing has been done over the last 12 months and is now ready for full roll out around the UK and the United States, this consortium and App are branded under the name Riide.
Riide is an alliance of large UK private hire and taxi operators who have come together to develop a global app designed to make the booking of everyday taxis to local operators seamless regardless of which city you are in.
The Riide app works with the support of partner firms across the world to provide a service with the use of just one app wherever you are. All the knowledge, innovation and experience of years in the private hire and taxi sector, at your service.
We are sure we will become the number one choice because of ease of use; Riide allows you to book a journey in just a few clicks. You can be safe in the knowledge you are dealing with local established companies wherever that may be but through one contact point which is the Riide app and network.
Hull Cars and a consortium of other large UK Private Hire taxi companies worked together to develop an International Taxi Booking App to take Uber head on. Hull Cars customers can use there Hull Cars App in any city that has a partner Taxi/Private Hire company which is a first and real breakthrough in the Private Hire industry working together. In addition any Hull Cars driver that finds himself dropping off in a partner city could find himself with jobs from one of our partner companies giving him work in and around that city or bringing a partner customer back to Hull cutting dead mileage down enormously and putting more money in the drivers pocket.
The things that make us so very different from Uber are that we still retain that personal one to one interaction with our customers and drivers, we are still there at the end of a telephone and in a physical presence at a licenced office address. If the customer has any sort of problem whether it’s a query about a job, a complaint, lost property we are still there to take care of them personally and sort out whatever they need. We don’t dictate to drivers what route they must take, we don’t take 25% of a drivers earnings and again we are there for that personal one to one personal interaction to help, guide and check that the people we employ are fit and proper people to do the job and do it professionally.
Our customers have the option to pay cash, credit or debit card or if they have a corporate account they can book on that.
For additional safety and security all App bookings send the full details of not only the vehicle but also the driver which includes a picture of the driver.
The App also allows customers to rate the driver and service as well as giving the customer the option to add drivers to their favourites enabling that driver to be sent for them should they be available at that time.
Hull Cars invest in brand new £200,000 state of the art call centre and brand new international taxi booking system (icabbi) which allows integration with all other taxi companies using the icabbi system and Riide App.
Customers now also have the option of booking Executive cars on the phone or via the App, these are top marque branded cars or are new or nearly new vehicles, drivers are dressed in shirt and trousers and costs about 15% more which rewards drivers that invest in their cars and make the effort to look smart and professional.
